Mommy leaves for work and a little girl bubbles over in excitement because she has an entire day to spend with her Daddy and her trusty sidekick, a blue-eyed white kitty who invades each activity. Together, Daddy and girl tackle stacks of pancakes, steal vegetables from the garden despite the scarecrow on guard, then during the rainy afternoon, they cuddle up to color and to read stories about dragons and knights, before fixing supper in time for Mommy's arrival home. Simple activities showing a great love, described in a fun rhyme.
